25 anniversary of the Remembrance day bombing in Enniskillen

For those caught up in the Poppy Day Bomb in Enniskillen the last 25 years have been a lifetime of suffering, but the memories are as vivid as if it had happened yesterday. On the 8 November 1987 people were gathering to honour the dead of two world wars when an IRA bomb exploded without warning. Amongst the eleven dead were three married couples, a reserve police officer and several pensioners. Today their families will gather at the town's cenotaph for a service of remembrance.
