In 2007 23 year old Private Damian Wright was killed near Lashkar Gah in Afghanistan whilst on patrol with the 2nd Battalion of the Mercian Regiment.

His mother Deborah Smalley talks to Dave Rhodes about her loss and what Remembrance Day means to her and the rest of Damian's family.

Deborah was speaking at the unveiling of the Mansfield Remembrance Garden which was opened in Carr Bank Park in 2011.
