Traveller Tales: Temple clamour of bells

The carved beams were the first to greet me as I ambled down the street in Chiang Mai, on my futile search for food. Then, retracing my footsteps, I returned to the temple to see the temple in its full glory - crimson roof of strips of wood in downward strokes above the white-washed building, with the ornamented end pieces clung with tiny bells, whispering in metallic clamour whenever breezes brushed by.
