My kindle is dead!

I'm on my 3rd #kindle and it's just died! Its stuck on the Screen wont reset the battery is full and my computer wont recognise it - its really dead! I'm really fed up because having a kindle opened up being able to read wherever I am as large print books are not portable! It meant I could read pretty much any book I wanted - including different versions of the bible and make notes. I have the software for iOS but I don't find it very accessible. It's going to take a while to save for a new one!
