Leaving Vance at Sevenoaks

It would be a bittersweet moment for any guide dog owner: heading off for an exciting weekend in Europe, but first having to part company with one's most trusted friend in the world. So it was just now as I bade farewell to Vance, and turned around to head back into London with my long cane. It isn't that Vance won't be well looked after; he adores my mum and will even be seeing my sister Jessica and her boyfriend.
