Exploring Glasgow's Riverside Museum of transport

Beside the River Clyde, Glasgow's great Centre of ship building, stands an iconic new structure housing the city's collection of historic steam engines, buses, trams, cars, and much more besides.

Having arrived on the previous night's Caledonian Sleeper service from London, and on the recommendation of Audioboo's @macolgan I enjoyed a couple of hours wandering between the exhibits on my own before heading off to Largs on the North Ayrshire coast to begin a week of sailing in local water's. The museum, which is free to enter, presents the vehicles in an attractive and innovative way,. At times it was a little challenging to navigate with my long cane, but it was well worth the effort.
