Barry, a guide dog owner from #Peterborough talks about his experience. We're working with Cambridgeshire Constabulary to increase the number of incidents that are reported.

Hate crime comes in many different forms, it can be because of hatred on the grounds of #race, #religion, #sexual orientation, #transgender identity or #disability. This can be committed against a person or property.

DS Adam Fraser explains: “Hate crime can have devastating effects on people’s lives and we want to improve the way we support sufferers and deal with it.

“We know that there is significant under-reporting of hate crime incidents across the county – without these calls coming in it makes our job of tackling this crime much harder.”

Anyone who has suffered, or is suffering, from hate crime or that knows someone who is please call police on 101 to make a report. Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or visit ‘True Vision’ online to make a report via www.report-it.org.u
