Injured children of Gaza

Since the Israeli aerial and ground offensive against the Gaza Strip began in July 2014, over 450 children have died in attacks on the densely populated Strip. Many thousands of children have also sustained severe injuries. Mohammad, 14, and Khaled, 5, are two such children, evacuated from Gaza to Jerusalem hospitals to receive urgent treatment.

Mohammad and Khalil are in the fortunate minority of children who obtained permission for evacuation to receive treatment. Back in Gaza, conditions are deteriorating as more patients arrive every day at hospitals that are already stretched to breaking point.
