New Ecko unltd Chaos II earbuds (Read description for more info)

Bought a pair of replacement earbuds for my iPhone. I never did mention how they sounded, they actually sound pretty good, nice deep tight bass and very detailed and distinctive highs. Really, compared to a pair of $200 Polk isolating and amplified earbuds, which I got on sale for $21.99.

I hate to say it, but these sound almost as nice and I would venture to say the highs on these have more presence, but mid-range is better on the Polk. Remember at full price these Ecko's are only $18.99 CDN, so what does this say about high-price earbuds, all hype, perhaps not, but at the rate at which I... errr my cats go through these things, well in my case, like Billy Joel said, you get more mileage from a cheap pair of speakers or in this case earbuds.
