In conversation with Tao Geoghegan Hart

This time last year, Richard Moore, Lionel Birnie and Daniel Friebe caught up with young British rider Tao Geoghegan Hart before he embarked on his first year as a senior rider for the Bissell Development Team.

It's been quite a year for Tao. He was third in the under-23 edition of Liège-Bastogne-Liège, 10th in the Tour de l'Avenir and got his first taste of pro racing at the Tour of California and the Tour of Britain. You may remember his spectacular crash on the run-in to Brighton, where he overshot a corner close to the finish and took a flier into the barriers.

The Telegraph Cycling Podcast met with Tao near his home in Hackney to get the lowdown on his season.

And US Marketing Guy had some words of advice for him before he headed to Girona in Spain to beginning his block of winter training.
