Jerpoint Park is a must see visitor attraction in Thomastown, Co.Kilkenny. A national monument heritage site with footprints of 12th century medieval town & the tomb of St. Nicholas (Bishop of Myra and yes, the famed Santa Claus no less!). Afterwards, enjoy the tea rooms in the wonderful Belmore House serving homemade scones. Fishing on the river Nore for wild salmon & brown trout on a private fishery as well as pony & trap rides make this place quite unforgottable.
