Plaid open nominations for Leadership 2012

Nominations will officially open today for the leadership of Plaid Cymru - The Party of Wales. Plaid Cymru is kicking-off the New Year and the leadership election with a fundraising football match in Cardiff, which will see members, staff and supporters including MP Jonathan Edwards take to the pitch.
From today, Plaid AMs can officially put their names forward to become Plaid’s next leader. The nomination period will close at midnight on 26 January 2012. Unlike other parties, Plaid Cymru’s Leader is elected using One member - one Vote, giving every grassroots member an equal say in who they choose to lead the only National Party of Wales.
