New Interactive Ad on Oxford Street

There is an interactive ad at a bus stop in Oxford Street that only women get to see...and not men. This is to highlight the gender discrimination of females in the developed countries. The ad is part of a campaign called “Because I’m a Girl” and was launched by charity organisation “Plan UK”. It is the first of its kind and uses a technology called “face recognition” that can determine the gender of the person standing in front of it. Our reporter Jenny Soffel went there to try it herself.
