我的童年

Hello everyone. Today I'm going to talk about my childhood. Today's question comes from Lang-8 user Jessie. Jessie wanted me to talk about my childhood and if I miss being a child. First of all I'll talk about my childhood. I grew up in a middle class family in the suburbs and I had a very carefree, I would say a carefree childhood. I have two siblings and we're all very close in age. So, there was a lot of fun we had when we were younger but also a lot of sibling rivalry as well. Some of the games I liked to play when I was little include duck, duck goose. It's when you sit in a circle and one person is a duck and they touch each person's head and they say duck, duck, duck and then when they say goose, the person who is tapped goose has to get up and run around and the duck has to try to sit down in that spot where the goose was. Another game that we often played was hide 'n seek and this is very common with children. Basically somebody counts to ten and when they count to ten, when they reach ten, they have to go find where everyone is hiding, and they have to find all the people that go hide. So that was very fun. There's another game called musical chairs. So let's say there's four people. So you play the music, but there's only three chairs and you have to sit down when the music stops and if you're the last one who sits down then you're out. You can't play anymore. So those are some games I enjoyed when I was younger. I also enjoyed playing video games because when I was growing up, the Nintendo system was very popular and I enjoyed playing Mario and I liked playing with my cousins, my cousins would also play Mario. So, I really liked it, I basically grew up with video games and do I miss being a child? I do. There's somethings I wish I could go back to, you know, somethings you don't have to worry about such as money, finding a job, going to school. It was much easier in those days and your parents did everything for you but now it's a little bit different because you have to be more responsible. So I would say childhood is a good time, if you can have a carefree childhood I think that's the best because you have the freedom to do what you wanna do, but once you're an adult it's a little bit different. Okay if you have any questions, you can feel free to send it to me and I will talk about it on my recordings. Bye bye.
