It's been one of the most high profile attacks carried out by dissident republicans. Two years ago Catholic policeman Peadar Heffron was travelling to work when a bomb exploded underneath his car. Constable Heffron had to have a leg amputated and now uses a wheelchair. The 35 year-old has never been able to return to work. And now another blow for the committed cop. Because he was TRAVELLING to work at the time of the attack it seems he's not entitled to compensation. The news investigation website, the Detail, has revealed that constable heffron has been refused industrial injury compensation. Why's that? Well it's because the law rules he was not on duty when the bomb went off under his car.
