PC Simon Harwood's Mother In Law Defends Sacked Officer

Maria, the mother-in-law of Simon Harwood, the police officer who was sacked last week following his role in the death of Ian Tomlinson, called LBC 97.3 to defend him.
As James O'Brien discussed Andrew Mitchell's tirade at a policeman, Maria phoned to discuss her son-in-law's case.
Harwood was sacked after admitting gross misconduct in the incident during the G20 protests.
