How To Win: Natalya Coyle. Olympic Modern Pentathlete

Natalya Coyle is an Olympic Modern Pentathlete, a sport with five disciplines - running, swimming, shooting, riding, and fencing. She trains six days a week with other the Pentathlon Ireland team Arthur Lanigan O'Keeffe and Eanna Bailey, Natalya, as a member of Sky Sports Living for Sports Mentors, also takes time to mentor young people in the value of sport. In 2012, Natalya qualified and represented Ireland at the London 2012 Olympics becoming, Ireland’s first pentathlete to compete in Olympics since 1980s. She placed 9th there after just 3 years of competing internationally and has gone from strength to strength since. She won a bronze medal at Hungarian Indoor Open, achieving her and Ireland’s first ever individual medal in an international pentathlon event, and with Arthur Lanigan O'Keeffe has become 2nd in the world in the Mixed relay after competing in the 2015 Modern Pentathlon World Cup in Minsk. Natalya is qualified for Rio 2016 this year with her goal being to beat her London performance and along with Arthur put Irish athletes in the podium stakes for their sport.

In this short clip Natalya talks about how she was introduced to the Pentathlon, and about how liking what you do is sometimes not enough.. you need to have a sheer passion and love for the sport to be a winner.
