Loneliness is crippling me, I need to get a full life
and 30 others like this.
I've listened to this twice so far, thanks to NickHallowayVox. Hugs to you. I am surrounded by a good many people who live and adore me, but I'm still maddingly lonely. Not all the time, but you give me comfort for when it hits hard. Thank you. Take care of you. Tim
I just listened to your message and admire your honesty and openness. I do not know what it was that triggered such feelings but I thank you for sharing such a deep felt message, what a powerful statement. I have no remedy or solution to your plight but can say there is more to you than you know. I think you need to go and search a bit deeper within yourself and come to terms with those things that trigger the isolation and feelings of loneliness. The past is something that we all cannot re-live but as for the future, who knows what joy, peace and possible happiness it could bring to us if only we position ourselves to embrace it. It sounds as though you are about to embark on anther journey and you are at turning point. You can remain lonely and work with the old, frail and dying or turn your attention to that fun loving character you affiliate with when doing the things you love…… I really, it’s up to you…..You can do it…..

Thanks for the comments guys. Cyberdoyle I think you hit the nail on the head. Del, thanks as ever. Never fear writing all you are thinking. You always make great points that inspire me. I am sat in a hospitality tent at Superbikes right now. I wish i could say what i think to a few people involved in this crazily over indulgent sport. Still. I am here to help a friend who has worked hard to get where he is and where he is balances on a knife edge. More importantly than anything this is how he feeds his kids.
Hi Christian. A sober report and unfortunately a more common event and a personal dilemma that I can relate to. I was going to write a long comment as this has really stuck in my head but my words pale in significance and just sound preachy. But you've won half a battle by sharing your thoughts and maybe next time I'll be more aware and help someone else down the road. Our environment isn't just ground, sky, buildings but also people and sometimes real people are the easiest thing to ignore. Thanks for a very thought provoking 'Real' slice of life. Keep yourself and your family well, my friend.
That was really quite touching.
