In this case it's not a band, it's a gastric bypass. Any weight loss surgery should be permanent unless there is an emergency. They generally advise you not to have children until two years after you had the surgery. Especially due to malabsorption of nutrients after gastric bypass.
Thank you guys for your comments. Yes, I know obesity is very high amongst line in visually impaired people, helping them is one of my dreams. Will be posting a few follow-ups about confort eating, weight loss surgery process, finding a gym and running. So if you're interested, keep listening out.
