Cabinet office consultation Principles - immediate review recommended

Rhion Jones considers the House of Lords Secondary Legislation Scrutiny Committee's Report on the Cabinet Office Consultation Principles. This calls for an immediate Review by an organisation independent of Government - preferably the National Audit Office. It particularly questions the wisdom of dropping the 12 week default rule in favour of the 2-12 week formula, and is worried that vulnerable groups' views may be not now be heard.
