Record Everything! A slight discourse on my views about recording:

Aug 23, 2013, 09:49 PM

The idea for this post stems from the fact that as a child, I ran around the house with a cheap tape recorder. I literally did record everything. I must have had days of tapes doing literally nothing, spools spinning, capturing everything and anything around me. Naturally I no longer have access to those tapes but I wish I did. Family friends you don't see anymore. Family members that have passed away. How you yourself sounded as a child. Your childhood home. All gone because most of us didn't record, and if we did, we didn't back it up. This subject is very close to my heart and is something I've become quite passionate about recently, and in this 10-minute post, I explain why.

If you have recordings you wish to be shared, please tag them with the hash tag #RecEv, and feel free to follow the twitter account @RecEvery. The goal of that account is to retweet and favourite all of life's moments so they are encapsulated for as long as twitter is around, and so that future generations can get a feel for how we lived.
