Last to the river race, @fidunn takes a trip and gypsy folk meets TV

Saturday was the day for one of London's great races, with some three hundred boats paddling their way upriver from Docklands. With the final stretch passing within three minutes walk of my flat you'd have thought Fi and I might have been leading the spectator pack, but sadly we were most definitely late to this race.
