In the video, Gerry speaks about taking the step up from Town Council to County Council and describes the changes made by Minister Phil Hogan to abolish town councils nationwide as a “retrograde step” . Johnny challenges Gerry on whether Councillors have got real power to make changes on a range of issues including changes to Commercial Rates, Car Parking in the town and Crime.
