Hastings volunteers hope to save lives in Sierra Leone - 1. Richard Homewood

Volunteers at the Hastings Sierra Leone Friendship Link hope their efforts will save lives. They've helped extend a health centre in the village of Hastings in Sierra Leone.

The team has returned from the village for a fifth time. Workers have also being rebuilding bridges, digging wells, teaching and offering waste management expertise. Richard Homewood from the Hastings Sierra Leone Friendship Link has been telling Arrow FM about his role.
