Najib completes London Marathon

Remember Najibullah Afghan who Sportsworld spoke to last Saturday?

He is the Afghan boy who lost sight in one eye and his brother was killed when a Taliban bomb went off.

Now educated in the UK, he ran the London Marathon last Sunday and finished within the top 10,000 runners after finishing with a time of four hours and three minutes.

He tells us he was delighted to have crossed the finish line and got almost a quarter of his sponsor money on from BBC viewers and listeners.

Well done to Najib and to everyone who sponsored him.
