A British mining company is at the centre of a dispute with Europe’s only indigenous people over its plans to drill for iron ore in the far north of Sweden. Sweden’s Sami have made a living from reindeer herding for thousands of years – but their traditional pasturelands are also rich with mineral resources…as Stuart Hughes reports:
