DR Congo hit by a "separate" outbreak of Ebola

"All those who died had no contact with outsiders".

The #DRC's Health Minister, Felix Numbi, says that the #Ebola outbreak in the north of the country - the first reported outside of West Africa - is not linked to the Ebola strain currently found in #Liberia, #Sierra Leone, #Guinea and #Nigeria.

Speaking to @CPons_BBC, Mr Numbi confirmed that a quarantine zone is being set up, and a specialist treatment centre will be erected within a week.
