From the archives: Joe Sample in conversation with Michael Wilson

In autumn 2012, #JoeSample was in the UK performing a series of shows with #RandyCrawford. We were lucky enough to have him in the Jazz FM studio, recording a whole hour's interview with presenter and jazz fan #MichaelWilson. During the programme, he introduces some of his greatest jazz influences, including #CountBasie and #DukeEllington, and he speaks at length about his phenomenal career, his work with #TheCrusaders and Randy Crawford, and his seemingly endless enthusiasm for live performance.
