Ugandan army takes over Miss Uganda contest to "help promote agriculture"

A beauty pageant, agriculture and the army. The three don't seem to have much in common at surface level. But in Uganda, an interesting partnership is forming; using the beauty queens as promoters of an agriculture project run by the army. It follows a chain of events in which the UPDF, the country's army, has been increasingly getting involved in what would be civilian activities. In the country some are asking; why is the army taking over Miss Uganda? The BBCs Patience Atuhaire reports from Kampala.
