Scraponomics Episode 47 - Michigan's Residential Recycling Initiative

You may have heard about the Governor’s proposed plan to increase Michigan’s residential recycling rate. The catalyst of the plan is based on a number – you can find it on the Michigan DEQ’s website – which states that Michigan’s residential recycling rate is 14.5%, whereas many other states have a rate closer to 30%. As a result, the Governor would like to increase that number to 30% in the next two years.
