A wild life: Memories of Peter

I had to become 46 years old to understand what roughing it on the street really meant. I was lying on the ground in front of the underground station, Thaliastrasse. I was in a sleeping-bag on the asphalt. I had a thin blanket under me to stop me from being washed away by the rain. That was hard. Now, I play on my computer on-line every day. At least 10 rounds of chess. Not against a programme, but against people. Out of the 33.000 games I have played, I have won 17.000. This is the balance I need. I will never again fall.
