Saddened by the news of Patrick Whitefield's passing, I searched my audio archive and found this interview, recorded with him at my first Transition Conference (the one where Ed Miliband came as 'keynote listener' at The Battersea Arts Centre), back in 2009. It gets better after he disabuses me of my ignorance. I also met John Papworth at the same event.
