Riots broke out on the streets of Baltimore after the funeral of Freddie Gray, a 25 year old man who died in police custody from unexplained spinal injuries. At least 7 police officers were injured, after rival gangs in the city threatened to unite in confronting the city’s force. Simon covered the story live for Radio New Zealand.
