Prince George street signs reflect changing times
Prince George didn't have any street name signs until 1938 when the Junior Chamber of Commerce put some up to reflect the growing stature of the city. A new round of street signs had to be put up in the 1960s, after a city employee got lost in the maze of new neighbourhoods with unmarked streets. Now, the city is looking to reflect its multicultural communities with some non-English signage. CBC's Andrew Kurjata explores what street signs say about who we are.
