A minutes silence will be held across the country this morning to remember the victims of the London bombings 10 years ago. 52 people were killed on three tube trains and a bus, in the first suicide bomb attack in the UK. A GP from Derbyshire, who was one of the first on the scene, has told Capital he'd be ready to do the same again. Dr Peter Holden, who works in Matlock, had been at a committee meeting at the British Medical Association HQ; outside, the number 30 bus in London's Tavistock Square had blown up and he was one of the first there, managing a team of 15.
