Introducing Splendid Scottish Songstress Karine Polwart with a Spook-tacular Song to Celebrate a Spooky Day
Oct 31, 2015, 10:38 AM
This song, taken from independent artist Karine Polwart's fabulous folk album Fairest Floo'er, is a traditional Scottish ballad called the Wife of Usher's Well. It was one of the ballads collected by Francis James Child in the latter half of the nineteenth century. It goes to show that people were talking about zombies long before the advent of the horror film. :-) #Celtic #folk #KarinePolwart #music #scary #spooky
