Sugar Tax – vital clamp down on obesity or nanny state in action?

An issue that we have spoken about many times on this show is the issue of a sugar tax, well now it might actually happen as a government report into the impact of sugar on the nation's health is expected to call for "bold and urgent action" to tackle the obesity crisis. The Commons' Health Committee said there was now "compelling evidence" a tax would reduce consumption.

So is taxing sugar the answer?
