How To Win: Thomas Barr. 400m Hurdles

Thomas Barr is a 400m hurdler from Co. Waterford and brother of Olympian Jessie Barr, who also competes in the 400m hurdles. In the last two years Thomas has become a rising star for Ireland winning 'Athlete of the Year' in the Glohealth National Athletics Awards. 2015. Thomas has gone from being a semi finalist in the 2014 European Athletics Championships, to a bronze medal at the Qatar Athletic Super Grand Prix as part of the 2015 IAAF Diamond League, and winning gold at the 2015 World University Games. Tom hopes that if he stays fit and healthy he, and sister Jessie will qualify for Rio 2016 Olympics.

In this short clips, Thomas talks about the incredible year he has had in his sport, as well as what going to the Olympics means to him.
