Cuckoo in the Forest

Part of a dawn chorus, recorded near Rothbury, Northumberland, from 3.30am on 28th May 2016. An amazing single take, 3 hours long, without a single interruption - no wind, no planes, no cars, no quad bikes, not even a dog. Love the way the cuckoo reverberates off the forest edge.
