Man runs up £7,500 bill in a strip club. Was he a drunken mug or was he taken advantage of?

A sozzled stag party guest from Northern Ireland took a strip club to court after he blew £7,500 in five hours, claiming he was taken advantage of for being drunk. The man from Portstewart spent the money - a third of his annual salary - on strippers and booze at Spearmint Rhino in Bournemouth three years ago. In court this week he said he'd drunk more than 30 alcoholic drinks and woke up to find the huge bill. After the judge suggested there might be no clear winner in the case, the parties agreed to settle, with the club not admitting any wrongdoing. They say when the drink's in, the wit's out - is being drunk ever an excuse?
