Episode #3: Is there a "Trump" card to deal with immigration reform?

Sep 09, 2016, 05:19 PM

Despite rumors of Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump easing his stances on immigration, he seemed to double down on his promises to toughen up the United States' immigration policies last week.

While Trump has claimed he "will terminate the Obama administration’s deadly non-enforcement policies that allow thousands of criminal aliens to freely roam our streets" (Aug. 31 2016--New York Daily News), are his proposed policies that different from past ones by Democrats?

Daily Item social media editor and The "T" podcast producer Emma Ginader talks with immigration lawyer Jerry Lynch of the Rudinski, Orso, and Lynch Law Firm in Williamsport, PA about the United States' current immigration policies. You can learn more about Lynch at www.williamsport.lawyer.

Instrumental music is "The Presidents March" by The United States Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, provided by freemusicarchive.org. According the website, the recording is in the public domain.
