hi this is Tracie from Wide Bay TAFE and welcome to session 2 of your sustainability studies. During this session we review the carbon cycle, how the industrial age started changes in our atmosphere, and centuries later smart phone apps to measure our footprints. We also look at consumerism, and discuss whether the world can support all the stuff that 7 billion citizens want to buy during their lifetime, and whether there will be anything left for future generations. Let alone enough resources to make cans of cola. Yes, there will be an assessment at the end of this session, but you will be confident when we get there.
