BBC Hereford & Worcester - live from the Falklands

Feb 06, 2012, 10:26 PM

It was the biggest naval action to take place since the Second World War. It lasted 74 days and claimed over 900 lives.

All next week, BBC Hereford and Worcester will be live from the Falkland Islands.

30 years after the conflict, we’ll hear how life has changed…and explore the connections between the people of the Two Counties and the Falklands.

And as tension builds once again in the South Atlantic, we’ll find out what it’s like to live on the other side of the world…and speak to local people about how the events of 1982 have shaped their future.
