Ivory dentures and dentist's hand drill

This recording was created by attaching a contact microphone to some deaccessioned ivory dentures and then drilling into these, using a 200 year old dentist's hand drill. The drill is surprisingly sharp even after 200 years, and is one of the objects in the collection of the British Dental Association Museum.
