If you speak Arabic that's not mean you are able to speak Lebanese. The Lebanese dialect is one of the most popular among Arab states but you cannot find it in the Arabic dictionaries. Marwan El Hachem an Arabic teacher in Saint Rita School in Lebanon will answer us about the absence of Lebanese vocabulary in the Arabic dictionaries.

See translation: (There is lot of Lebanese words originated from other countries but spelled in the Arabic way because of Turkish occupation for 400 years and the French mandate and others; that is why we cannot find it in dictionaries. And i have to point that the Arabic dictionary contains just the formal language and none of Arabic dialects. These words started to incorporate in the Lebanese vocabulary especially that people started to get use to it and is still in our days.)
