1948 Olympic Silver medallist reflects on her success

With the Olympics just a week away, the Times & Sunday Times have produced an Olympic scrapbook for people to collect their memories of the 2012 games.

The idea for the scrapbook was fuelled by the story of John Astin, who produced his own scrapbook the last time the worldwide event was hosted in London.

That was in 1948, where British sprinter Dorothy Manley won silver in the women's 100m behind legendary Dutch runner Fanny Blankers-Koen.

Manley, now 84, reflects on her achievements of 1948. Hear her story now.

To pick up your copy of the scrapbook, it's available in this Saturday's (21st July) edition of The Times, available at WH Smith and Waitrose.
