Big Ben heralds the start of London 2012 during 'All the Bells'

To mark the start of London 2012, bell ringers across the UK rang bells from 8.12am until 8.15am, including London's famous Big Ben.

The event was part of the London 2012 Festival and was orchestrated by artist Martin Creed.
