5/5: York Youth Council: End Child Poverty in York Campaign (BBC Radio York, 6th July 2012)

A radio interview with members of York's Youth Council on BBC Radio York with Jonathan Cowap where the young people discuss issues surrounding child poverty in York.

Topics include the impossible to meet prices of school uniform compared to family benefits for parents with some local schools being named and shamed and what the Youth Council are doing to combat this issue.

Also, the young people deal with the stigma attached to being identified as an individual receiving an authority funded school meal and why many choose to avoid eating or bringing their own lunch in fear of bullying.
