Wow. I didn't know that about your wife. Hope she's doing alright.
I'm no doctor, but she could healed right up with a transplant, correct? If so, I got some obnoxious neighbors I'd be more than happy to deprive of their kidneys or any other organs you might be wantin'.
I go for walks all the time. I hate those people that walk side by side and expect you to get out of their way. And I generally hate marathon runners too - if only because they'd hog up city streets and make it difficult for car drivers to get home.
Normally when I recorded theses things (with Audacity) the audio came out too quiet and had to be jacked up with the Amplify effect. I finally figure out what I needed to do to raise my microphone volume. I had to get into my microphone properties and adjust the microphone boost.
What do you...
OK, so I recorded this one selecting my microphone as the recording device in Audacity AND used the effect "Amplify" as well. Hopefully I'm getting closer and closer to that great, no background noise-sounding podcast sound. I know I'm still a ways off, but I'm slowly climbing higher up that...
I recorded this on my netbook. It seemed that I was getting a much better wave file (is that correct term usage?) on Audacity using that computer, as opposed to my desktop computer. Audacity on the desktop had a pretty pitiful looking wave file. Lemme know if it sounds better.
