We also had the first playing of Carolina Lins & Os Planatos version of the Kaiser Chiefs' 'I Predict A Riot' from Louis Myles' film 'Kaiser: The Greatest Footballer Never To Play Football'.

Phil Shelley provided us with two 'Shirts of the Season'.

However, what we got was a trawl through Danny's and Guy's careers, both at the Albion and pre- and post-Brighton. Some fabulous stories, fascinating philosophies and consideration from over the past 25 / 30 years of their respective careers. And we managed to fit in talking about their award-winning roles at AITC - and how they were tricked into coming to the awards ceremony...

Judith Burke, resident in Brunei told her story of taking her five day-old daughter to Hereford in 1997, including the appalling behaviour of the Hereford stewards.

Ady turfed Albion Cup Finalist Gary Stevens out of bed in Thailand for a chat about the Albion's first season in the top flight for 35 years.

Former Kilmarnock, Rangers, Manchester City and Brighton midfielder Gordon Smith joined Ady & Al in our makeshift studio in Worthing for a chat about his time starting in Scotland, before heading south to Brighton.

Oh, and we touched on some hitherto unknown incident at Wembley in 1983.

After his playing career finished, Gordon became an administrator in Scottish and world football affairs, working alongside some of the great of the game.
